Heather Treseler (English) will introduce Megan Marshall, who won the Pulitzer Prize in 2014, when she reads from her new biography, “Elizabeth Bishop: A Miracle for Breakfast,” at Harvard University on Monday, February 27. Treseler was recently featured in the Worcester Telegram & Gazette for her review of the book.

Additionally, an excerpt from Treseler’s manuscript of poems, “Pantheon,” was named a runner-up for the Jeffrey E. Smith Editors’ Prize at Missouri Review. Three poems from her entry, “Daphne on Being Wood,” “Persephone’s Postcard,” and “Demeter: Calendar Girl,” will be featured in the spring edition of Missouri Review.

Treseler read from this manuscript at Clark University on February 8 during her presentation, “Ut Pictura Poesis: Dreaming in the Museum.” On February 13, she will read at the Worcester Polytechnic Institute with Craig Blais, author of the award-winning “About Crows.”
