SpencerBANK Donates $5,000 to Worcester State Foundation

SpencerBANK donated $5,000 as part of a 3-year, $15,000 pledge to the Worcester State Foundation. This donation will go toward the Foundation’s annual scholarship program and will be used to assist students overcome financial barriers.

“This very generous support from SpencerBANK is the perfect example of how a bank can make a real difference in the community,” said Worcester State University President Barry M. Maloney. “From their local branches to the corporate level, SpencerBANK is a compassionate partner with Worcester State University. On behalf of the entire University community, we greatly appreciate their support of our students, helping them to succeed, graduate and fulfill their dreams.”

Michael Robbins, president and CEO of SpencerBANK. “We are committed to making a difference in the communities we serve and I’m excited to see our pledge help the foundation with their scholarship program.”
