Corey Makes Several Presentations about Urban Studies Research

Steven H. Corey (Urban Studies) presented the paper “Banking on Brownfields, Landfills, and History: Toxic Waste and Urban Renewal in Worcester, Massachusetts, 1986-Present” and participated in a roundtable discussion “Teaching Urban Studies” with his colleague Lisa Krissoff Boehm (Urban Studies) at Reconsidering the City: A Conference on Urban History held at SUNY Fredonia April 23-24.

He also presented “Rambling Around and Rummaging Through Industrial Ruins: Active Learning and Environmental History” at the 2010 joint meeting of the American Society for Environmental History and the National Council of Public History in Portland Oregon, March 11-13.
